Meet Jason

Realtor Broker®

Jason’s educational background includes Punahou School and the University of Pennsylvania where he studied Computer Engineering and Telecommunications. In 2000, he began his career as an engineer working as a business analyst consultant. He served as a team member on several projects before being promoted to Team Leader. As the project team leader, he supervised the day-to-day operations of a 3,500+ participant incentive compensation plan with yearly revenue to the company exceeding $500,000. In addition to being the primary client contact, responsibilities included timeline planning for scope, pricing, design, implementation, developing and documenting processing procedures, and training new team members.

In 2007 Jason began his real estate career, where he has experienced tremendous success. He has been awarded the Diamond Society, Client Service Award, nominated for the Aloha ‘Aina award (Honolulu Board of Realtors® People’s Choice), and Outstanding Newcomer award in 2013. He is also proud to be a 1% donor to a non-profit organization whose mission is to help Hawaii’s youth and families and enjoys donating his time as a volunteer. Jason was also recently nominated to join the YAF group - a select core of young, experienced agents who are interested in helping to cultivate and shape the family-based culture.

Jason demonstrated his ability in project sales by closing 52 units, ranking 2nd of 14 on the sales team. It is through this experience that he understands how important the team dynamic is for the overall success of the project. He believes in hard work, making sacrifices, compromising, and working with teammates to leverage everyone’s strengths ensuring that the team is successful. Jason believes in conducting business with integrity and treating everyone fairly.

Jason has strong working knowledge and experience with all aspects of affordable housing. He understands the buyer profile will include young professionals and government employees working in the Honolulu area. There will also be families that cannot afford single-family homes in the town area. Another strong buyer profile will be those who are recipients of financial assistance from parents or grandparents (either in the form of significant cash gifts or non-title co-signors). Jason has experienced success in prospecting using methods such as social media, direct email, and face-to-face sit-down lunches with referral sources. Over the years he has developed referral sources that are tapped into large networks of people such as financial planners, attorneys, doctors, lenders, and outside brokers.
